At MyMoonLore, your privacy matters deeply. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have.

Information We Collect

We collect information you provide directly to us, such as your birth date (used to calculate your moon personality), email address, and any journal entries or preferences you save within the app. We also collect standard usage data such as pages visited and features used, to help us improve the experience.

How We Use Your Information

Your birth date is used solely to calculate your lunar phase archetype and generate personalized moon insights. Your email is used to send moon phase reminders (only if you opt in) and important account communications. We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties for marketing purposes.

Journal & Personal Data

Journal entries and moon readings are private to your account. They are stored securely and are never shared with other users or third parties. You can delete your journal entries at any time from within the app.

Payments

All payments are processed securely by Stripe. We do not store your credit card details. Stripe's privacy policy governs the handling of your payment information. You can review it at stripe.com/privacy.

Cookies & Local Storage

We use local storage to remember your theme preferences and birth date so you don't have to re-enter them on each visit. We do not use third-party advertising cookies.

Data Retention

We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. If you wish to delete your account and all associated data, please contact us at privacy@mymoonlore.com and we will process your request within 30 days.

Children's Privacy

MyMoonLore is not directed to children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us immediately.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any significant changes by posting the new policy on this page with an updated date. Your continued use of the app after changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
